About Me
I’m Elena Dorsey, the lead interior designer and founder of Vivax Interiors. Born and raised in Tallinn, Estonia, I’ve always been inspired by Scandinavian culture, where "Vivax" is a name synonymous with luxury living. Since founding my design firm in 2005 in Scottsdale, AZ, I’ve had the privilege of bringing high-end residential and commercial spaces to life across Arizona, California, and New York.
What Inspires Me
My passion for interior design is deeply rooted in the history of architecture, art, travel, and nature. I’m fascinated by how color, texture, and form in our surroundings influence our emotions and well-being. Everyone deserves a space that reflects their personal style—a space that feels relaxing, inspiring, and uniquely their own. My purpose is to help my clients transform their vision into their dream home.
I love working with contemporary, modern, farmhouse, and eclectic styles. My main goal is always to create a space that’s functional, comfortable, and uniquely tailored to my clients. I encourage incorporating treasured items from travels and meaningful experiences, making every design truly personal.
A home should embrace a neutral palette, allowing the architecture and personal mementos to make the boldest statements. This approach ensures each space feels timeless, sophisticated, and entirely yours.

I strive to make my client's life more comfortable and more engaging by utilizing architectural and design details that solve problems- finding the perfect balance between form and function. When creating an environment for my clients, I like to embrace all of the senses. This creates a space that can transform you into another time and place and, in turn, deepens the connection that my clients have with their homes. I start with how each client wishes to feel in their surroundings, allowing me to understand the aspirations of how they would like to live. Their daily routines and goals influence my choice of materials, fixtures, and flow of their floor plan.
